Law firms De Pardieu Brocas Maffei and Gide have advised AXA IM - Real Assets and Hammerson plc on setting up a partnership relating to the ownership and operation of Paris shopping centre Italie Deux, the city's second largest shopping centre in terms of visitors.
Property fund AXA IM - Real Assets has announced that it has acquired from Hammerson plc a 75% stake in the 61,800 sq.m. shopping centre for EUR 473 million.
Hammerson plc retains a 25% stake in the shopping centre.
Gide's team advising Hammerson plc on real estate and M&A/Corporate aspects comprised partners Christopher Szostak and Thomas Urlacher, counsel Constantin Miliotis, and associate Bertrand Garrandaux. Associate Lucie Pernet advised on town planning aspects and partner Emmanuel Reille advised on competition matters.
Hammerson plc was also advised by firm Arsène Taxand on tax matters, as well as Etude Wargny Katz.
AXA IM - Real Estate was advised by De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, as well as notary office Cheuvreux.
