Event | Turkey | Customs union between Turkey and the EU
On Monday 26 November 2018, partner Arpat Şenocak attended the 9th Bosphorus Summit on sustaining peace and development for all, organised under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey.
Arpat was invited in his capacity of President of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Turkey as member of the panel discussion on "Customs Union 2.0 as an instrument for trade and peace creation". Other panel speakers included the President of the German-Turkish Chamber of Industry and Commerce, a member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Turkey, the President of the Belgian-Luxemburg Trade Association, the Vice Director General of EU and Foreign Affairs for the Turkish Ministry of Trade, and the Head of the Trade Section (EU Delegation).
