Our HR recruitment campaign launched last February really is full of surprises! On 4 July 2018, it received the second place accolade during the annual Prix Opéra 2018 ceremony that took place at the Maison du Barreau in Paris.
Set up in 2010 on the initiative of French legal journal Juristes_associés and the Actéris communications agency, the Prix Opéra aims to reward, every year, the best communication campaigns or actions carried out by law or accounting firms.
Our "Expect to be surprised" campaign puts our associates in the spotlight, in split photographs representing them both as lawyers and amateur artists or sportsmen/women. The aim was to move away from a more traditional professional context. The campaign was also a chance to further our firm's leitmotiv: being a lawyer at Gide means developing one's talent, being passionate about one's work, and letting one's personality shine through in international teams.
It builds on the firm's dynamic nature, embodied by the talented individuals that make up its ranks, in order to keep on attracting the best candidates, students or young lawyers alike.
The Prix Opéra also aims to give more visibility to advisory professions and to modernise their image in business environments. Over 150 people, including lawyers, legal consultants, communications professionals, and entrepreneurs, were present to hear the results live at the ceremony.
