Gide and Yulchon law firms have advised Korean group KC Green Holdings, listed on the Seoul stock exchange and specialised in environmental technologies, on the acquisition of 67% of French removable office partitions specialist Clestra Hauserman. Current CEO Vincent Paul-Petit will hold the remaining 33% stake, via his company Industries & Commerces Investissements. Clestra Hauserman had been majority owned by Impala Industries since 2013.
Clestra Hauserman employs 660 people worldwide, including 390 in France, primarily in Illkirch near Strasbourg (270 employees). It generates 150 million euros in turnover.
KC Green Holdings already holds 50% of Clestra Hauserman's South Korean subsidiary, and this acquisition is set to help further the globalisation of Clestra Hauserman's activities.
Group KC Green Holdings was advised by Gide in France, with partner Guillaume Rougier-Brierre and associate Natalia Li, and by Yulchon in Korea, with partner Lee Hyung Ki.
