Joanna Jasiewicz, advocate at the Warsaw office of Gide and representative of the Polish Confederation Lewiatan, has been appointed to the European Council Advisory Committee for the Coordination of Social Security Systems, as the member for Poland in the trade employers’ representatives category, in place of Mr Jeremi Mordasewicz.
The Committee’s objective is to assist the Commission in monitoring the application of EU law on the free movement of workers, and to help coordinate Member States’ employment policies.
The Committee meets twice a year in Brussels.
