Awards | France | Chambers Europe Awards 2017
Gide has been named France Law Firm of the Year at the Chambers Europe Awards 2017. The prestigious honour was announced at an annual awards dinner in London on Friday, 7 April.
This is the fifth time that Gide has received this award, having also been presented with it in 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2014 (in 2009, we were rewarded with the "France Client Service Award").
These awards honour the work of national and international law firms across Europe on the basis of research for the upcoming edition of the Chambers Europe legal guide. Chambers' research and client feedback put Gide ahead of its competitors in the “France Law Firm of the Year” category.
The award recognises Gide’s pre-eminence in Europe and specifically France. It also reflects the firm’s notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.
“We are very honoured to receive this prestigious award. It is recognition for the remarkable work and expertise of our teams that have been dedicated to the service of our clients over the past 12 months", stated Stéphane Puel, Gide's Managing Partner. "This prize confirms, once again, our leading position in France. It reflects our strong multi-disciplinary expertise and ability to advise on the most complex and innovative matters", added Baudouin de Moucheron, Gide's Senior Partner.
In a further item of good news, another leading international legal guide, Legal 500, announced on 7 April that Gide has received the most Tier 1 rankings in France in the 2017 edition of Legal 500 EMEA.
