Gide has advised Aster Capital on its EUR-5-million investment in the share capital of OpenDataSoft, alongside Aurinvest and Salesforce Ventures. Founded in 2011, OpenDataSoft makes available an SaaS platform to stakeholders of smart cities and urban areas to help them standardise, analyse, share and transpose their data (pertaining to transport, energy, water, networks etc.) for a better use by developers and a better understanding by laymen. The solution is already being used by 80 clients in 10 countries, including the cities of Paris and Brussels, Veolia Europe and the French national railway company SNCF.
Gide's team comprised partner David-James Sebag and associate Grégoire Debit.
