Gide has 25 years of presence in Poland.
Gide was one of the first international law firms to open an office in Poland in 1991. Today, our Warsaw office numbers some 40 lawyers and tax advisors, headed by five partners, Dariusz Tokarczuk, Pawel Grzeskowiak, Piotr Sadownik, Marcin Muszel and Mateusz Chmielewski. Gide Warsaw provides legal advice in all key areas of business law and is one of the most recommended international law firms in Poland. In the past two decades, we have been involved in a considerable number of projects, including the most important privatisations and investment transactions on the Polish market.
Gide's Warsaw clients include financial institutions, banks, insurance companies, foreign investors, large Polish corporations and other entities, including state-owned companies and public institutions. We have also advised half of the Polish WIG-30 companies.
On 2 June 2016, our Polish team held a private reception in the Belvedere Restaurant in the Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw to celebrate this event with its clients and business partners.
Dariusz Tokarczuk, partner in charge of Gide Warsaw, states: "The evening was an excellent opportunity to take stock of a quarter-century of the office's history on the Polish market, which has changed and developed almost beyond recognition over that time. We would like to warmly thank everyone for their trust and for helping us to create 25 years of history of Gide in Poland!"
Baudouin de Moucheron, Gide's Senior Partner, adds: "It is always an immense honour to celebrate a quarter-century! Gide has an historic and strong presence throughout Central and Eastern Europe, and our Warsaw office plays a crucial role in offering our longstanding expertise and accompanying our clients in this region."
