Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and Gide have advised KKR on its acquisition, from a group of private investors, of 85% of the capital of a French OPCI (a collective investment vehicle specialising in real estate) holding 10 property assets primarily located in the Paris region. The portfolio of varied property assets, which includes offices, industrial parks and warehouses, is estimated at over 70 million euros for a surface area covering 117,000 m².
Gide acted on the M&A / Corporate and real estate aspects, with partner Frédéric Nouel, Cléopha Thomann and Pierre-Adrien Vibert.
Freshfields advised KKR on the operation’s structuring and its fiscal aspects.
