15 November 2012: Gide Loyrette Nouel advises the FSI on its investment in Paprec
Gide Loyrette Nouel is advising the French Strategic Investment Fund (Fonds Stratégique d’Investissement, FSI) on its EUR 100 million investment (amount that could reach EUR 150 million in 2013 in accordance with the agreed investment plan) through capital increase within the Paprec group holding, the leading independent French recycling player. Paprec is advised by Weil Gotshal & Manges.
The investment was carried out on the occasion of a shareholder reorganisation operation within the group around its founding member, and will enable Paprec to finance an ambitious investment programme in its 50 plants in France, thereby giving it the means necessary to pursue its role in strengthening the recycling sector in France via targeted acquisitions.
The Gide Loyrette Nouel team was led by partner Antoine Bonnasse, and comprised Lucile Gaillard on corporate aspects, Guillaume Jeannet on real estate aspects and Chucri Serhal on financial aspects.
The Weil Gotshal & Manges team was led by partner Frédéric Cazals, and comprised Charles Cardon on corporate aspects, Karine Tollemer on financing aspects and Edouard de Lamy on tax aspects.
