20 November 2013: Gide and De Pardieu Brocas Maffei advise on the first EUR 255 million mortgage bond issued by Foncière des Murs
Gide Loyrette Nouel has advised the arranger, HSBC France, on the first EUR 255 million mortgage bond listed in France. The issue was made by Foncière des Murs, a subsidiary of Foncière des Régions, which was advised by De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, and is secured by a mortgage on a hotel portfolio rented by Accor. The bonds benefit from various other specific security interests, have a seven-year maturity, and were placed with French institutional investors.
This is the first mortgage bond ever listed on Euronext Paris.
HSBC was advised by Gide Loyrette Nouel, with a team led by partners Kamel Ben Salah and Hubert du Vignaux, assisted by Delphine Guillotte and Théophile Strebelle, associates, and the notary firm Allez et associés.
The issuer, Foncière des Murs, was advised by De Pardieu Brocas Maffei with a team led by partners Guillaume Rossignol and Thomas de Boisanger, assisted by Nicolas Bricaire and Grégoire Balland, associates, and the notary firm Cheuvreux et associés.
