International law firm Gide is strengthening its international arbitration and dispute resolution practice with the addition of Clotilde Lemarié as a partner in the London office.
A specialist in international arbitration, Clotilde has acted for companies, States and State-owned entities in complex proceedings, both institutional and ad hoc, across EMEA, Asia and South America.
Clotilde’s expertise includes disputes arising from international construction projects, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors, as well as disputes arising from joint ventures and acquisitions, mining projects, international sale of goods and investment protection.
Clotilde is a Barrister in England and Wales, an Avocat au Barreau de Paris and a member of the New York Bar. She acts in proceedings both in English and in French.
Clotilde started her career with Gide in Beijing, Paris and then London. She now returns to the firm after four years with the London office of Pinsent Masons.
“We are delighted to welcome Clotilde back. She is a truly excellent lawyer and we are confident that she will make a great contribution to the growth of our arbitration practice”, said arbitration partner Rupert Reece, in charge of Gide’s London office.
The London International Dispute Resolution team is part of Gide's global disputes practice, which comprises over 140 lawyers. The London team handles multi-jurisdictional disputes and is uniquely placed to bridge the common law and civil law systems in which the firm's clients operate.
