International law firm Gide partners the Réunion des Musées Nationaux - Grand Palais (French national museums network) as sponsor of the Monumenta 2016 exhibition, running from 8 May to 18 June 2016. For this edition, Huang Yong Ping, an artist of Chinese origin, has created Empires, a colossal immersive installation that fills the immense space of the Grand Palais’ main nave.
This partnership reflects a commitment that is in line with Gide’s core values: challenge, innovation and open-mindedness. With Empires, Huang Yong Ping also addresses topics that are important to the firm, such as changes affecting trade, the metamorphosis of political and economic powers, and new territorial conquests.
