France | Monumenta 2016 | Grand Palais
International law firm Gide partners the Réunion des Musées Nationaux - Grand Palais (French national museums network) as sponsor of the Monumenta 2016 exhibition, running from 8 May to 18 June 2016. For this edition, Huang Yong Ping, an artist of Chinese origin, has created Empires, a colossal immersive installation that fills the immense space of the Grand Palais’ main nave.
This partnership reflects a commitment that is in line with Gide’s core values: challenge, innovation and open-mindedness. With Empires, Huang Yong Ping also addresses topics that are important to the firm, such as changes affecting trade, the metamorphosis of political and economic powers, and new territorial conquests.
Baudouin de Moucheron, Gide Senior Partner, states: “Leading international firm of French origin, Gide is proud to offer its support to creation and to an internationally renowned artist. We strive to boost the collective commitment of our teams to better meet social challenges, and this partnership is also in line with our firm’s desire to make culture accessible to all.”
