Gide has advised group Solocal, local digital partner for companies in France, on the sale of Mappy, third player in day-to-day mobility in France behind Google Maps and Waze, to RATP Group.
The expertise of Mappy teams will complement and strengthen those of RATP Smart Systems, a subsidiary of RATP, as of 1 November 2020. Together, they will create an innovative and customer-centric "Mobility as a Service" (or MaaS) digital offer.
The Gide team advising Solocal was headed by partner Axelle Toulemonde, working with associates Amandine Coulomb and Sophie Gilbert on M&A/Corporate aspects, and partner Magali Buchert on tax aspects.
On financial aspects, Solocal was advised by Eric Braconnier (Mitsio Corporate Finance).
