Marlin Equity Partners acquires a majority stake in group iBanFirst from some of its current shareholders. Final completion of the transaction is expected in the coming weeks.
iBanFirst is a global supplier of financial services, delivering solutions across banking borders sector via its online platform that specialises in multi-currency transactions.
Gide advised iBanFirst and its shareholders on this acquisition transaction. The team was headed by partner Jean-François Louit, working with counsel Vincenzo Feldmann and associate Amandine Coulomb on corporate matters, partner Paul de France and associate Alan Sournac on structuring and tax matters, and counsel Yan-Eric Logeais, on employment law aspects.
Harvest Legal also advised the company and its shareholders on aspects of Belgian law.
