Gide has advised Huawei on establishing its first manufacturing plant in France, which will be located in the Brumath Business Park in eastern France.
Huawei, a global solutions provider in the field of communications and information technology (CIT) and working with 45 of the 50 largest operators worldwide, has committed to developing local infrastructures by working with French companies for the design and construction of this plant, which is expected to be environmentally friendly.
Huawei aims to recruit 300 employees mainly in eastern France, and hopes to build up to 500 employees for EUR 1 billion production worth per year.
The Gide team advising Huawei was headed by partner Stanislas Dwernicki, working with associate Yannick Granjon.
