Gide has advised HSBC REIM, acting on behalf of SCPI Elysées Pierre on concluding a lease on the entire Akora property complex by group Lefebvre Sarrut.
Located 10 place des Vosges in Paris' business neighbourhood of La Défense, the asset covers a total surface area of 16,500 sq.m. and is certified HQE Exploitation excellent, Breeam very good, WiredScore platinium and Biodivercity.
From the autumn of 2022, the property complex will host 1,300 employees of Lefebvre Sarrut, a major player in France's legal and tax training and publishing industry.
Gide's multidisciplinary team advising the lessor was headed by partner Hugues Moreau from the Real Estate Transactions & Financing practice group, working with:
- associates Lucie Martins and Antoine Fondacci on the project's leasing aspects;
- counsel Lucie Pernet on urban planning aspects;
- partner Bertrand Jouanneau and associate Vincent Michaux on tax aspects.
The lessee was assisted by Upside Partners and Herbert Smith Freehills.
