Gide has advised French bank group Crédit Agricole CIB on acquiring a stake in Cobase, alongside Nordea. They join Cobase's main shareholder ING as shareholders of Cobase, with the objective to become commercial partners. Crédit Agricole CIB and Nordea have both invested 10 million euro.
At the same time, Cobase has secured a commercial partnership with Nordea, with the intention to conclude a similar agreement with Crédit Agricole CIB. This allows Cobase to develop activities with two major players in the financial world who will use Cobase' technology to serve their clients. Cobase anticipates that in the future more banks may join as strategic or commercial partners.
