Gide has advised French banking and insurance group Arkéa on the sale of its subsidiary Leasecom, specialised in the lease financing of professional equipment, to FinTake Group, which already controlled NBB Lease, a company dedicated to financing equipment sales for professionals.
Through its two brands Leasecom and NBB Lease, FinTake Group becomes the leading independent French player in the lease financing of equipment for businesses. This acquisition enables the group to provide for its international development and position itself as a European player in equipment lease financing.
Axa IM, which has supported the NBB Lease project since its launch in 2016, continues to finance the group's development in its acquisition of Leasecom.
Gide's team advising Arkéa was headed by partner Guillaume Rougier-Brierre, working with associate Alexandre Heydel on corporate aspects, partner Guillaume Navarro on employment law aspects, partner Magali Buchert on tax law aspects, and counsel Clément Vandevooghel and associate Sonia Aguercif on financial law aspects.
