Gide advised Veolia Environnement on two new Panda Bonds issues, for an amount of RMB 750 million each, issued under each of its two Panda Bonds Programmes of RMB 5 billion, approved by the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors in December 2019.
These operations, which have been prepared on the basis of the most recent legislations and regulations applicable to Panda Bonds issuances, confirm French and European issuers’ appetite for this market.
Gide’s team comprised partners Hubert du Vignaux and Laurent Vincent, assisted by associates Juliette Pierre and Shanna Kim in Paris on French law aspects, and partner Jiannian Fan in Shanghai on Chinese law aspects.
