Gide’s Real Estate Transactions & Financing team has assisted L'Oréal in the reorganisation of its office space occupation in the Paris region, with three major leasing operations of offices off-plan:
These operations concern complexes that are either under construction or undergoing refurbishment according to occupation plans designed by and dedicated specifically to L’Oréal’s operating divisions. Gide thus developed its skills in negotiation and drafting the contract documentation required for such complex operations, whose key stages included defining the property goods to be leased, carrying out the specific layout modifications required by the lessee, and acceptance and leasing of the property goods in question from acceptance. With no statutory regime governing this type of contract, which combines aspects of both construction law and commercial property leasing, the parties are allowed a certain amount of contractual freedom.
Gide advised L'Oréal with a team comprising partner Stanislas Dwernicki, and associates Loris Marghieri and Grégoire Marin.
