Gide has advised Veolia Environnement on the issuance of two series of subordinated bonds for a total amount of EUR 2 billion admitted to trading on Euronext Paris.
The proceeds of the bonds will be used to refinance the acquisition of 29.9% of the Suez shares from Engie.
Gide’s team was led by partners Hubert du Vignaux and Laurent Vincent, assisted by Aude-Laurène Dourdain and Victor Delion.
The bank syndicate led by Natixis, Deutsche Bank, Mizuho Securities and MUFG composed of 11 banks.
Gide also advises Veolia Environnement in connection with the proposed acquisition of Suez with partners Olivier Diaz et Charles de Reals, assisted by Henri Stiegler and Anaïs Roudel on M&A aspects, partners Antoine Choffel and Stéphane Hautbourg on Competition aspects, partner Eric Cartier-Millon and counsel Delphine Guillotte on Banking aspects and partners Aurélien Boulanger and David Jonin on Employment aspects.
