Gide, the international law firm of French origin, has published its first annual social responsibility report for 2014, entitled “Bringing meaning to our commitment”. The report focuses on Pro Bono projects completed by the firm, and also highlights actions in the fields of human resources and the environment.
In 2014, Pro Bono work at Gide increased markedly, with the number of people involved leaping up 30% on the previous year, now representing 10% of the firm’s members. Additionally, the number of free legal consultations increased by 50% on 2013.
Gide also aims to be more socially and environmentally responsible, and consequently has launched projects to recruit and retain the most talented individuals, foster the well-being of all its members, and reduce its environmental footprint.
In 2015, the firm is developing and implementing additional measures to further intensify this global CSR dynamic, which is part of Gide’s ethos and work ethic.
