Admitted to the Paris Bar and based in Casablanca since 2016, Benoit Pape specialises in Projects (Energy - Infrastructure) and developed specific knowledge on public contracts and large scale infrastructure projects in Morocco with a specific focus in the energy sector.

He regularly assists the Moroccan State, administrative authorities, sponsors and lenders on projects in Morocco with a specific emphasis on contractual and regulatory issues.

Benoit has also been involved on the drafting of legislations in Morocco and reorganization of institutional framework in Morocco (e.g. waste management, electricity distribution, horse sector, industrial areas).

Before joining Gide in 2016, Benoit was in-house counsel at Geostock (Entrepose Contracting / Vinci) working on oil & gas matters.

Benoit Pape studied in France and Australia and holds a Master in business law from the Aix-Marseille University. He speaks French and English.
