News | Dispute Resolution | London & Paris | Arbitrator Panels
Two Gide Counsel from the firm's International Dispute Resolution practice across its London and Paris offices have recently secured appointments to a number of high-profile panels of arbitrators.
Saadia Bhatty of Gide London has been included on the panels of both the Energy Disputes Arbitration Center (EDAC) and of the Center for International Investment and Commercial Arbitration (CIICA), the latter being Pakistan’s first international arbitration centre offering both domestic and international arbitration and mediation services.
Natasha Peter of Gide Paris has joined all three of TECBAR's panels - of arbitrators, adjudicators and dispute resolution board members. TECBAR was founded in 1983 and now has 400 members. It is the specialist bar association for employed or self-employed barristers who practise in the Technology and Construction Court, forming part of the UK’s Business and Property Courts, or before adjudicators, arbitrators, both domestic and international, and other tribunals.
Saadia's new appointments join her existing appointments to the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) and the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA). Similarly, Natasha's latest appointments have added to her memberships of EDAC, Delos, CIICA, the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) and UK Adjudicators.
Panels of arbitrators are made up of candidates who have been carefully vetted based on their background and experience. These appointments are testament to Saadia's and Natasha's in-depth understanding of the rules of arbitration across a range of regions, sectors and industries, as well as their professionalism and the high regard in which they are held within the arbitration community.
