Our International office Gide Warsaw has advised Polish Enterprise Fund VII, a private equity fund managed by Enterprise Investors, on the sale of Nu-Med, a leading Polish company specialising in radiotherapy treatment for cancer patients, to Affidea a pan-European provider of specialist healthcare services, including cancer care, advanced diagnostic imaging and community-based polyclinics. The deal is subject to approval by the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.
The team from Gide Warsaw, comprising Paweł Grześkowiak (advocate, partner), Wojciech Czyżewski (advocate, counsel) and Magdalena Zawiślak (trainee attorney-at-law, associate), provided comprehensive support to the fund in connection with the transaction, including on a due diligence investigation, preparing and negotiating the share purchase agreement, as well as with the W&I policy.
Enterprise Investors is one of the largest private equity firms in Central and Eastern Europe. Active since 1990, the firm has raised ten funds that have invested and committed EUR 2.3 billion in 156 companies and exited 140 companies.

NU-MED Group operates four highly specialised medical centres, located in Elbląg, Katowice, Zamość and Tomaszów Mazowiecki, for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cancer.
