基德与友好律所召开“中国投资在欧洲”主题研讨会
Gide held a seminar on “Investment in Europe” in Shanghai on 27 November with "best friends" firms Chiomenti, Cuatrecasas and Gleiss Lutz.
Partner Fan Jiannian was the main organiser and host of the event, and gave a general introduction on Chinese investment in Europe and the main legal constraints. Other speakers included Luigi Vaccaro, partner of Chiomenti in Milan; Albert Agustinoy, partner of Cuatrecasas in Barcelona; Omar Puertas, partner of Cuatrecasas in Shanghai; and Michael Burian, partner of Gleiss Lutz in Stuttgart.
Topics included foreign investment control in the EU, concentration filing in the EU, the labour union consultation process during an acquisition, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Joining the seminar’s discussion panels were general counsels from major Shanghai-based corporations such as Jin Jiang International, Shanghai International Group, Shanghai Zhenhua, and Red Avenue.
The event was attended by Yu Weifeng, chairman of the Shanghai Bar Association; Shen Qing, official in charge of outbound investment from the Ministry of Commerce in Shanghai; and Gianluca D’Agnolo, Chiomenti partner and Shanghai office head. Also in attendance were legal counsels from various Chinese companies and lawyers from Chinese law firms.
The seminar was held jointly with the Shanghai Bar Association, which Gide Shanghai joined in 2012 as a special member. As vice-chief of the special member committee, Jiannian is responsible for coordinating all foreign law firms registered with the organisation.

研讨会的专题包括欧盟投资监管、欧盟反垄断申报、收购项目中的工会协商程序以及《通用数据保护规范》（GDPR）。
参加研讨会讨论的有总部设在上海的各大公司的总法律顾问，包括锦江国际、上海国际集团、上海振华和彤程集团。
出席研讨会的有上海市律师协会会长俞卫锋、上海市商务委员会对外经济合作处处长沈清、意大利凯明迪上海代表处合伙人Gianluca D'Agnolo、多家中国公司的法律顾问以及来自若干中国律所的律师。
研讨会由上海市律师协会特邀会员委员会主办，基德及友所协办。基德上海代表处自2012年起成为上海市律师协会的特邀会员。范建年律师作为特邀会员委员会的副主任，负责在上海市律协登记的所有外国律师事务所的协调工作。
