Gide's affiliated firm, Özdirekcan Dündar Şenocak Ak (ODSA), has advised Türkiye Wealth Fund ("TWF") on the acquisition of Bereket Katılım insurance companies and the subsequent restructuring of the takaful insurance operations of TWF subsidiaries, resulting in the creation of two joint stock companies fully dedicated to takaful insurance, Türkiye Katılım Sigorta A.Ş. and Türkiye Katılım Hayat A.Ş.
Both companies will be operating under the "Full Takaful Model" and engage in life and non-life insurance activities, providing services in areas and subjects that comply with the principles of participation/takaful insurance. Türkiye Katılım Sigorta A.Ş. and Türkiye Katılım Hayat A.Ş. aim to build a new-generation insurance approach and target becoming a leading player of the participation/takaful insurance market.
