A way of working which sets us apart

We are and will always be lawyers, faithful to our oath, members of an Order and a Bar, to the head of which, in the case of the Paris Bar, several lawyers from our firm have been elected in the past.

Additionally, we share a unique vision of our profession, built on three fundamental principles which enable us to respond to economic and societal changes and constantly explore new solutions. These three fundamental principles are:

  • We strive to deliver excellence for our clients. That’s why we prioritise diverse profiles, recruiting talented people from a wide range of backgrounds who identify with our values.

Our different areas of activity are complementary and mutually reinforcing, encouraging value creation and the development of effective, comprehensive and innovative solutions.

  • We work tirelessly to improve our practice in our areas of expertise. We encourage an openness to different perspectives and embrace the opportunities offered by existing legal frameworks. We are committed to providing dedicated support for our clients in all their projects, in all sectors and in all jurisdictions.

  • To provide support with high added value for our clients, our firm must be well structured yet flexible and responsive. In a constantly changing world, agility enables us to effectively anticipate the challenges facing our clients.

Our governance

At Gide, every member of the firm contributes his or her expertise and knowledge. We have a participatory governance model and a strong culture of solidarity. Decisions about strategy and long-term approaches are taken collectively by all our partners at our Partners’ Meetings, with the support of our Management Committee. This ensures dynamic and inclusive leadership which reflects our collective vision.

Our Management Committee

Elected for a renewable three-year term, the committee is made up of five partners and our Secretary-General
