Gide partners the international annual conference of LES (Licensing Executives Society), LESI 2017, held in Paris from 23 to 25 April 2017, on the topic of "Revolution in IP? Scenarios for the Future". The conference focuses on a changing world, the new dynamics of the world, and ongoing places in society, science and technology. The changing world innovation and intellectual property at the heart of business and challenges all IP professionals to re-evaluate traditional IP systems and the value of IP.
A leader in intellectual property law with one of the largest groups of specialist lawyers in France, Gide will of course take part in the conference. One of our IP heading partners, Arnaud Michel, has chaired LES International (Licensing Executives Society) from 2014 to 2015, after serving as board member, Vice-President (2011-2012) and chairing several working committees (e.g. European, Mediation, Trademark, Copyright, Membership etc.). He had previously headed the French LES Group in 2000 and 2002.
The annual conference programme is balanced between inspiring keynote speakers, recognized experts, and experienced industry leaders who will share their views during plenary sessions, mini conferences and workshops relating to Life Science, High Tech, Consumer Products, Legal and Economy. The programme also includes a focus on European perspectives, and the raising role of sustainable development.
