Women of international law firm Gide, who are taking part once more in the women-only Paris-based race La Parisienne on 14 September, have decided to make the event a double charity commitment: as well as supporting research against breast cancer, which is La Parisienne’s own good cause, they hope to raise funds to support Perce-Neige’s actions in favour of mentally disabled adults.
For over 3 years now, as part of its Pro Bono programme, Gide has been providing financial support to Perce-Neige to help improve resident living conditions at its various Homes. In 2012, the firm provided the funds necessary to the landscaping of a garden suited to the needs of disabled men and women, and which is now used as a therapeutic activity that helps develop both mental and motor skills. In 2013 and 2014, Gide decided to support various refurbishment projects of Homes in Colombes, Courbevoie and Mandres-les-Roses, near Paris.
