Gide advised RGREEN INVEST, a specialist in energy transition financing in Europe, on the structuring of Crédit Agricole Transition Infrastructure Debt Fund (CATI), dedicated to Crédit Agricole Assurances Group.
The fund has an investment capacity of €300 million and its main purpose is to finance, via debt instruments, infrastructure projects contributing to a less carbon-intensive economy in various sectors (in particular solar photovoltaic, wind power and hydroelectricity). It is classified as Article 9 under the SFDR Regulation.
Subscribed by Predica, a life insurance subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Assurances , “CATI” fund will notably invest in loans receivables from Crédit Agricole CIB and the Regional Banks (through Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies).
The Gide team comprised partner Stéphane Puel, counsel Clothilde Beau, of counsel Carine Dymon, and associate Margot Lecoeur.
