Gide has advised Pernod Ricard, second worldwide producer of wines and spirits, on the merger of operational companies Pernod SAS and Ricard SAS. The merger consisted in Pernod being absorbed by Ricard.
This merger was finalised on 30 June 2020, and aims to create a single company under the name "Pernod Ricard France".
Gide's team advising Pernod Ricard was headed by partner Nadège Nguyen, working with associate Véronique Quèruel on corporate/M&A aspects; partner Antoine Choffel on competition aspects; partner Laurent Modave on tax aspects; and partner Foulques de Rostolan on employment aspects.
