Gide has advised Mirova on concluding a strategic partnership with Engie in the biogas sector. The investment was carried out by the Mirova Eurofideme 4 fund, which acquired a 50% stake in Dana Gaz.
Dana Gaz owns nine operating methanation units (seven biomethane production plants and two cogeneration plants), developed and built by Engie.
The Gide team advising Mirova was headed by partner Alexis Pailleret (M&A), working with Chloé Bouhours (M&A), Marylène Fourès (environment), Alice Le Néel (urban planning) and Emma George (energy).
The Mirova team was made up of Jocelyn Dioux, Witold Marais, Amaury Penanhoat and Sébastien Marck.
Engie was advised by De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés.
