On 2 July 2019, Gide partner Michel Guénaire obtained four interim measure orders by the President of the Tribunal de grande instance de Versailles, dismissing more than 300 applicants requesting the withdrawal of Linky smart meters.
In application of law dated 3 August 2009 pertaining to programming the implementation of decisions of the French environment roundtable Grenelle de l'environnement, 35 million Linky smart meters should be fitted by the end of 2021 in France.
