Gide is very pleased to welcome two lawyers specialising in aviation law, Jonathan Rubinstein and Guilhem Argueyrolles, within its Insurance, Industrial Risk & Transport practice group in Paris.
Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2008, Jonathan Rubinstein joins Gide as Of Counsel. Jonathan specialises in transport, aviation, insurance and international private law, and provides both advice and litigation assistance in the fields of transport, particularly air transport, and industrial risk. He regularly advises manufacturers, airport or airline maintenance companies on disputes or aircraft accidents. Jonathan also advises insurers after claims to determine whether the security is forfeited. Prior to joining Gide, Jonathan worked for several French and international law firms: four years for Bouckaert Ormen Passemard Sportes, four years for Bird & Bird, and two years for DLA Piper. Jonathan holds a postgraduate degree from Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne University in international private law, an LL.B. (Hons) from Sheffield Hallam University, and a Master’s degree in law (business law pathway) from Paris XII University.
Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2011, senior associate Guilhem Argueyrolles specialises in transport, aviation, insurance and international private law. He advises insurers, manufacturers and airlines on regulatory and contract issues, as well as during disputes (national and international, civil liability disputes and commercial disputes). Prior to joining Gide, Guilhem worked for nearly five years for Bird & Bird, then two years for DLA Piper. Since 2014, he is a board member of the French Professional Civil Drone Federation (Fédération Professionnelle du Drone Civil, FPDC), in charge of legal and insurance matters. Guilhem holds Master’s degrees in general private law and insurance from Paris II – Panthéon-Assas University, as well as a Master’s degree in philosophy from Montaigne University (Bordeaux) and a postgraduate degree in law (legal proceedings pathway) from Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
