Gide's team advised an independent private equity fund specialising in SME transactions on the acquisition of a 70 per cent stake in Maczfit, a leading provider of dietary catering home delivery.
The firm's work covered comprehensive advice on issues related to the establishment of a joint venture between the investor and the founder of Maczfit, including in particular the preparation of a due diligence report, the negotiation of an investment agreement and an agreement between the shareholders, as well as support at closing the transaction.
The fund will not only provide capital for the further development of Maczfit, but will also support Maczfit with experience in building the value of consumer goods companies. The investment will enable the further intensive development of Maczfit, namely through the implementation of new technological solutions, thereby helping to expand its offer and distribution network.
