Gide advised Novasep Group in connection with an EPC Contract signed with Tay Ninh Chemical Industry (Tanichem), a joint venture between State-owned Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) and Tay Ninh Sugar, for the design, engineering, procurement and construction of the first-ever Vietnamese sorbitol plant with a capacity of 30,000 tons/year in South Vietnam.
The EPC Contract involves Novasep Group as foreign contractor and State-owned construction group MIE to form a consortium for performance of the project, which includes the installation and sales of equipment and complex high technology.
Novasep is a global provider of cost-effective and sustainable manufacturing solutions for life sciences molecules and fine chemicals. This is an important transaction for Novasep in terms of international expansion in Asia-Pacific where Novasep has developed first-rate laboratories, engineering, procurement and project management capabilities.
