Gide has advised Lendix on setting up its crowdfunding e-platform of the same name. It was launched in March 2015 by Olivier Goy, founder of independent management company 123Venture.
The Lendix platform enables French SMEs to finance their projects, with each project eligible for up to 1 million euros. These companies may receive loans from both individual lenders (in compliance with the Ordinance of 30 May 2014 on the new legal regime pertaining to crowdfunding) and professional lenders. Each eligible project selected by Lendix will be financed jointly by individuals, a credit institution (Banque Wormser Frères) and by professional investors via the securitisation mutual fund FCT - LX - 2015 -1.
Gide’s team comprised partner Stéphane Puel and associates Emilie Rogey and Michel Zacharz on regulatory aspects, and partner Christine Van Gallebaert and associates Clémence Charpentier and Bassem Caradec on securitisation aspects.
