Gide’s Casablanca office advised Mr Driss Mamoun Chaoui, one of the shareholders and CEO of the Moroccan pharmaceutical group AFRIC PHAR (comprising Afric Phar, Pharmis and Partner Lab), on the sale of his stake to Pharma Capital, part of the Sefrioui Group.
Gide was involved in all aspects of the transaction: structuring of the transaction, contractual documentation, satisfaction of conditions precedent and closing. The Gide team was led by partner Chloé Joachim de Larivière, assisted by Associate Constance Holman.
The buyer, the Sefrioui group, was assisted by DLA Piper (Camilia Benani and Kenza Belrhiti Alaoui).
Other selling minority shareholders were assisted by URITI, MK Partners and Dentons Morocco.
