Gide Warsaw advised KGHM Polska Miedź on the conclusion of a USD 450 million unsecured working capital loan agreement with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. The funds raised will be used to finance the company's general corporate objectives.
The Gide team, comprising Dariusz Tokarczuk (attorney-at-law, partner) and Marta Karmińska (attorney-at-law, of counsel), provided overall support to KGHM in negotiating the terms of the loan and concluding the loan agreement.
KGHM Polska Miedź is one of the largest Polish state-owned companies, listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and one of the world's leading producers of copper and refined silver.
