29 October 2012: Gide advises Tikehau on the takeover of Salvepar
Gide Loyrette Nouel advised group Tikehau on taking over Salvepar, a French investment company listed on NYSE Euronext Paris, from Société Générale.
Tikehau Participations & Investissements, an investment company recently created by Tikehau group and whose objective is to invest equity in the capital of listed and non-listed companies, acquired on 26 October 2012 at a price of EUR 86.24 per share, the 51.42% of the capital and voting rights in Salvepar held by group Société Générale.
Tikehau Participations & Investissements will shortly file a simplified takeover bid on the remaining Salvepar shares at the same price per share, in accordance with the applicable regulations. The takeover bid will be submitted to the approval of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF). Tikehau Participations & Investissements will not request a squeeze-out following the takeover bid.
