7 February 2013: Gide, counsel to Legrand on the acquisition of Seico in Saudi Arabia
Gide Loyrette Nouel has advised Legrand, a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures, on the acquisition of Seico, the Saudi leader in industrial metal cable trays, a segment where it is also a top player in other countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council. With its three production plants in Saudi Arabia that produce its entire output, in 2012 Seico posted sales of around EUR 23 million.
The move increases Legrand's presence in Saudi Arabia, a high-growth market where the group is already a leader in wiring devices.
