Gide welcomes Guillaume Monnier as Counsel

Gide announced today that Guillaume Monnier has joined its Capital Markets team in Paris.

The growing Paris team now comprises four partners, five counsels, and around ten juniors and mid-level associates covering equity capital markets, debt capital markets, and derivatives, under both French and US law. Recognised as one of the leading firms in the market, the team has been shortlisted as nominee for Capital Markets Law Firm of the Year in France by Chambers & Partners.

Guillaume Monnier regularly advises issuers, shareholders and  underwriters on capital market transactions, including initial public offerings, rights issues / capital increases, block trades, equity-linked transactions (convertible/exchangeable bonds), bond issuances, and liability management transactions. He also provides legal counsel to listed companies on stock market regulations.

Member of the Paris Bar since 2018, Guillaume Monnier holds a degree from the Magistère in Law, Taxation and Accountancy at Aix-Marseille University. Before joining Gide, he spent nearly eight years working in the Paris offices of US law firms (White & Case and Jones Day).
