Gide Rebound, a cross-disciplinary initiative to support companies in a new era
At Gide, we are highly conscious of these new economic, social and legal issues. Our ambition is to assist our clients in understanding them to their full, and meet the challenges that need to be met.
What are the impacts on organisations? Are new expectations already arising? What is the impact of digital tools and new usages on businesses? How can we adapt projects as regards ethics and CSR in the midst of an economic crisis? How can we put in place new initiatives in the service of the future?
Businesses’ capacity to innovate, reinvent themselves, and work differently will also be of paramount importance in the “world after”. Gide strives to find the most suitable legal solutions to the upcoming issues. Through Gide Rebound, Gide is further confirming its position as an ideas lab.
Opening up prospects on the world of tomorrow
Gide Rebound is a cross-disciplinary offer that is in keeping with the discussions and work carried out by our Covid-19 Taskforce. From the very beginning of the health crisis, our lawyers combined their expertise to offer concrete answers to their clients’ legal needs, for instance by regularly analysing all the Ordinances of France’s Emergency Law and making them available on our website. Throughout this singular period, our approach was characterised by high responsiveness and local and collective commitment. Today, our teams are focused on finding solutions to build a new world after Covid.
Without forsaking the analysis of emergency legislation, with our returning freedom the time has come to launch prospects on the short, medium and long term: such is our wish, and the logic behind Gide Rebound.

A dedicated team of experts
Gide Rebound is a multi-disciplinary and multi-sector team set up to work on the consequences of the crisis on corporate life. Bringing together all of Gide’s areas of expertise, it is capable of tackling a wide variety of topics. It is led by:
- Stanislas Dwernicki, partner, Real Estate Transactions & Financing
- Jean-Gabriel Flandrois, partner, Mergers & Acquisitions / Restructuring

From short-term consequences to structural upheavals
Gide Rebound is an initiative that is deliberately structured on two driving themes:
- The short term: Gide Rebound covers short term topics that are directly related to the Covid-19 crisis, in fields such as health and liability challenges, distressed companies, protection of privacy, etc.
- The long term: Through Gide Rebound, our firm’s experts anticipate structural and long-term changes resulting from the crisis: economic reliance, green transition, the role of ethics, CSR and the dialogue of companies with their stakeholders, importance of digitisation, fall-back of globalisation, improved society resilience, and even new forms of multilateralism, are just some of the many subjects that could be tackled.
