Gide, counsel to Flowbird’s management on the strategic group’s acquisition by EasyPark

In connection with its strategic acquisition by the Scandinavian group EasyPark, Gide has advised the management of Flowbird, a leading global mobility technology player.

Both groups decided to join forces to become a leading mobility platform provider and to take greater responsibility for digitalizing urban mobility globally for commuters, cities and operators  and make cities more liveable.

Vitruvian Partners, Verdane and Searchlight Capital Partners L.P. (former main investor of the Flowbird group) support the acquisition.

The Gide team was made up of Jean-François Louit, partner, with Valentin Lefebvre, counsel, Manon Volle-Lenoir and Oumnia Benkirane, associates, for the corporate/M&A aspects; Paul de France, partner, and Charles Ghuysen, associate, for the French tax aspects; Vanessa Tollis, partner and Manon Prestigio, associate, for the US tax aspects; Gerald Montagu, senior counsel, and Elmira Jazottes, associate, for the UK tax aspects; David Jonin, partner, and Tahani Amraoui, associate, for the employment aspects; and Laurent Godfroid, partner, and Rolline Skehan, associate, for the competition aspects.
