Gide advised the SNCF Group on the notification to the European Commission and obtained clearance for the proposed merger between Thalys and Eurostar
This transaction will allow the development of international rail transport in Western Europe in order to encourage European travellers to choose sustainable mobility by opting for the train, rather than travelling by car or plane.
It will also improve the experience for travellers by offering simple and efficient routes between the countries and cities served by Thalys and Eurostar, with optimised frequencies and schedules for quick connections.
