Ann Baker to speak on the Update on AIFMD Implementation

Finance partner Ann G. Baker participates in the 17th Annual International IBA Conference on Private Investment Funds from March 6 to March 8 in London.

Ann will speak in particular in the Workshop 11 on Monday 7 March and in the Workshop 16 on Tuesday 8 March on the topic of “Update on AIFMD Implementation” – Against the background that: (i) the third country passport is not (yet) available; (ii) private placement into the EU is( becoming more) difficult; and (iii) reverse solicitation presents challenges; this workshop will provide an overview of marketing and alternate structuring solutions for third country (US) managers, including third party AIFM solutions, parallel funds and master/feeder solutions. In addition, we will discuss how managers are dealing with the AIFMD requirements.
