Associate in the arbitration group of Gide since September 2017, Vincent is admitted to the Paris Bar and a Solicitor of England and Wales. Vincent Carriou specialises in international arbitration.
Vincent regularly acts as counsel and secretary to arbitral tribunals in arbitrations conducted under the aegis of the main arbitration institutions (ICC, SCC, LCIA, ICSID, PCA, SIAC) relating to cross-border contracts across various industries such as construction, energy, mining and aerospace. Vincent also acts as counsel in litigation brought before the French domestic courts in relation to arbitration and setting-aside proceedings.
Vincent holds a Master's degree in international trade and finance from the Lille Institute of Political Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in politics and international relations from the University of Kent in Canterbury (United Kingdom) and Master's degree in arbitration and international trade law from the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
