Vanessa Tollis is a partner in Gide's New York "Tax" team.

Her practice focuses on US international tax law, with a particular emphasis on cross-border transactions. She advises on the US tax aspects of financial transactions, securities offerings and securitisations, as well as on fund structures and cross-border investments. She advises European companies on employee equity compensation, high net worth individuals on tax compliance and disclosure issues, and advises clients on a wide variety of other US cross-border tax issues. She also has considerable experience in non-tax transactions, including general corporate and secured transactions in the US.

Vanessa regularly advises French clients of all sizes on the U.S. tax aspects of stock options and other equity compensation plans, including multiple CAC 40 companies on the U.S. tax aspects of Employee Stock Purchase Plans. She also regularly advises foreign financial clients on US tax issues arising in cross border financings, and foreign funds and investors on a variety of U.S. tax issues.

Vanessa is a graduate of Boston College Law School and a member of the New York and New Jersey bars. She is co-chair of the New York City Bar Committee on Taxation of Business Entities.
